In the case of Beckhoff, after installing its TwinCAT control software, a real-time kernel is inserted into the Windows operating system to turn the computer into a real-time control system suitable for industrial applications. 3. Single-chip microcomputer: representative products such as STM32, use manufacturers have Haitong, machine. Compared with the former two, the price of the single-chip microcomputer is low, and the cost of peripheral devices is at most a thousand yuan. One disadvantage of using a microcontroller is that if you want to make a mature product, you need to spend a lot of effort designing external circuits and various underlying algorithms. The software development environment may be worse.

The above classification does not mean that the three are clearly defined. For example, the core chip of PLC may be a single-chip microcomputer; the programming language of the industrial computer is likely to adopt the ladder diagram, ST and other languages used in the PLC field; the microcontroller can also be loaded above. The operating system thus forms a complete controller. Therefore, although they each have their own applicable fields, they will complement each other and evolve into a situation in which you and me have you.
